Planting and Growing Instructions: 1. When to Plant: Direct sow outdoors in early spring after last frost. Sow again every 2–3 weeks for a continuous harvest through summer. 2. How to Sow: Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in loose, well-drained soil. Keep soil consistently moist until germination (7–10 days at 60–70°F). Thin seedlings to 8–12 inches apart. 3. Growing Tips: Grows best in full sun. Avoid transplanting—dill prefers to be direct sown. Stake taller plants to prevent lodging in windy conditions. Remove flower heads to prolong leaf production if harvesting for foliage. Let some flowers bloom to attract bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects. 4. Culinary & Garden Uses: Use fresh or dried leaves in soups, fish, potatoes, pickles, and salads. Yellow blooms are great for bouquets and edible floral displays. Seeds can be harvested for spice or replanting.
